Job Description
EPS Corporation is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. this position Performs receiving operations and customer service support for Property Accountability Services (PAS) at NUWCDIVNPT warehouse facilities. Executes material receipt, inspection, documentation, and customer inquiry functions using Navy ERP for SUBSAFE/LEVEL I/DSS-SOC material.
Requirements
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Collect material from specified on-base locations upon receipt of WMF or B47 Express Pickup email.
  • Receive material delivered to Building 47 warehouse.
  • Process receipts by material type:
    • Classified/COMSEC: Scan unopened package into receiving log; transfer to Government lead
    • MILSTRIP: Responsible for entire receiving process
    • GPC/Contract: Complete kick and count, scan package, transfer to Government lead
    • Goods receipt without reference: Responsible for entire receiving process
    • Unidentified material: Record in frustrated material log; transfer to Government-defined location
  • Receive and inspect materials from supplier, carrier, storage, or customer; verify parts are correct and undamaged.
  • Offload material from delivery vehicles for freight deliveries.
  • Inspect shipping packaging and material for damage or leakage; verify part number/material number, count, and condition against Navy ERP purchase order.
  • Document damaged, deficient, mismatched, or nonconforming materials; prepare TDRs, SDRs, PQDRs.
  • Establish and maintain open orders, bills of lading, WMFs, and completed files.
  • Maintain files with delivery information, shipping data, packing slips, vendor correspondence, obligation change notices, PO modifications, rejected material notifications.
  • Conduct research to obtain accurate order identification for material received without documentation.
  • Receive, validate count and package condition, identify classification, segregate multipacks, and label material.
  • Complete Navy ERP induction process, Material WMFs, chain of custody forms, and document receipt in Government log.
  • Generate daily delivery manifest for material to be delivered within next business day.
  • Complete Navy ERP induction for NUWC Detachment and offsite location receiving documentation.
  • Use Navy ERP on real-time basis to track receipt, validation, and delivery of materials.
  • Complete Key Supporting Documents (KSDs): DD-250, DD-1348, DD-1149, WMFs, packing slips.
  • Record receipt of custody of unordered or frustrated material in Government log.
  • Transfer frustrated material to Government-defined location.
  • Provide customer service via phone, email, fax, and in-person in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Provide information and solutions in response to inquiries.
  • Provide applicable Government disposal or shipping instructions and process guidance.
  • Access Navy ERP to retrieve and record information; perform material identification and tracking.
  • Investigate in-bound shipment status inquiries; verify status; locate material if already received; provide feedback to customer.
  • Identify root cause of delivery issues; capture lessons learned.
  • Support quarterly summary reports of delivery issues with process improvement recommendations.
  • Utilize Navy ERP, WebFLIS, and Haystack for logistics research.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma.
  • One (1) or more years in a related field.
