As a Field Service Engineer, you play a key role in helping ASML achieve its mission to unlock the potential of technology for the benefit of society. By joining our Customer Support department, you contribute directly to the productivity and satisfaction of our customers. You help maintain the most advanced semiconductor equipment in the world, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently. Your work as a Field Service Engineer 2 makes a real difference to the future of electronics and supports ASML's commitment to innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Field Service Engineer, you deliver high-quality support to our customers. You solve challenges, foster teamwork, and create positive experiences for those who rely on our technology.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues at customer sites using logical troubleshooting steps.
  • Install, maintain, and repair ASML systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and colleagues, keeping everyone informed of progress.
  • Follow safety guidelines and contribute to a safe work environment for all.
  • Document actions and findings accurately to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and drive customer success.

Education and Experience
  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a closely related field, OR at least three years experience.
  • You have at least two years of experience in field service, technical support, or equipment maintenance, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
  • You are familiar with using diagnostic tools, measurement systems, and computer-based reporting platforms.
  • You have experience working with complex technical systems in a fast-paced environment.

Other Information
  • This position is located on-site in Chandler, AZ and requires onsite presence.
  • Position requires up to 25% domestic travel
  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach and stretch
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Occasionally required to move around the campus and must be willing to work in a clean room environment for the entire duration of the shift, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, and gloves.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights or weekends when needed

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
