Job description

Lead Projects. Stay Hands-On. Grow Your Career.

We're looking for a Field Service Engineer to oversee equipment installations, support customers, and coordinate field service operations. This is an ideal opportunity for someone ready to step into a leadership role while staying actively involved in technical work.

Unlike many management positions, you'll supervise one Field Service Technician, allowing you to remain hands-on with troubleshooting, installations, and customer support. Even better, this role requires only about 30% travel, significantly less than many field service positions.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary contact for customer service and installation support.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and installation issues while coordinating solutions.
  • Plan and oversee equipment installations from scheduling through completion.
  • Coordinate field service activities and provide guidance to one Field Service Technician.
  • Prepare service and parts quotations.
  • Maintain technical documentation, service records, and project files.
  • Support customer invoicing and identify opportunities to improve service operations.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in field service, equipment installation, industrial machinery, automation, packaging, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.

Why Join Us?

  • Hands-on leadership—grow into a manager-level role while staying involved in the technical work.
  • Low travel compared to most Field Service Engineer positions.
  • Project ownership from planning through completion.
  • Join a growing company where your ideas and initiative make a real impact.

If you're looking for a role that combines technical expertise, customer interaction, project leadership, and career growth, we'd love to hear from you.
