These roles can include engineering, maintenance, logistics, software development, and project support, all focused on the development, production, or sustainment of the F-35. As an entry-level team member on the F-35 program, you can expect a structured onboarding process that includes both formal training and on-the-job learning. New hires often receive guidance from experienced mentors and participate in workshops or technical courses tailored to their specific function, such as engineering, maintenance, or operations. Collaboration is highly encouraged, and you'll likely work closely with multidisciplinary teams, gaining exposure to cutting-edge aerospace technologies. This supportive environment helps you quickly build the foundational skills and confidence needed to contribute effectively to the program.

To thrive as an Entry Level F-35 Technician, you need foundational knowledge in aircraft maintenance, mechanical systems, and electronics, often supported by a relevant associate's degree or technical training. Familiarity with maintenance management software, diagnostic tools, and certifications such as Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) are typically required.
