Job Summary:
The World Equestrian Center - Ocala is seeking attentive and service-oriented Server Assistant to support the opening team of Polo Pony, our elevated American cuisine concept located within the prestigious Equestrian Manor. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who take pride in maintaining a refined dining environment and thrive in fast-paced, high-volume settings.
As a Server Assistant at Polo Pony, you will play a key role in supporting the front-of-house team by ensuring tables are impeccably reset, service areas are pristine, and guests experience seamless transitions throughout their visit. Your efficiency, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence will reflect the World Equestrian Center's core values of Quality, Class, and Distinction.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support servers by clearing and resetting tables promptly and elegantly between guest seatings.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, side stations, and service corridors.
  • Ensure tableware, glassware, and linens are polished and properly stocked.
  • Assist with water service, bread delivery, and other guest touchpoints as needed.
  • Monitor guest needs discreetly and responds promptly to requests.
  • Uphold all safety, sanitation, and food handling standards.
  • Assist with private dining and special event setups and breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with hosts, servers, and runners to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in all guest-facing interactions.
