The World Equestrian Center - Ocala is seeking a polished and detail-oriented Food Runner to join the team at Genievieve's; our refined Italian dining concept located within the prestigious Equestrian Manor. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, luxury environment and takes pride in supporting seamless service and maintaining an elegant dining atmosphere.
As a Food Runner at Genievieve's, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and graceful delivery of dishes, maintaining pristine table settings, and contributing to the overall guest experience. Your attentiveness and professionalism will reflect the World Equestrian Center's core values of Quality, Class, and Distinction.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Deliver dishes from the kitchen to guests with precision, care, and attention to presentation.
  • Communicate effectively with servers and culinary staff to ensure accurate and timely service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining areas throughout service.
  • Clear and reset tables promptly and discreetly, ensuring minimal disruption to guests.
  • Polish glassware, silverware, and tableware to uphold luxury standards.
  • Assist with water service, bread delivery, and other table-side support.
  • Monitoring guest needs and respond with attentiveness and professionalism.
  • Support private dining and special events with setup, breakdown, and service assistance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized service station and back-of-house areas.
  • Uphold the highest standards of sanitation and safety in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Always maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and respectful team environment.
