Your Role:
We are looking for a talented entry level Epic Analyst to join our team in October 2026. As an Epic Analyst, you will play a vital role in maintaining the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. You will work as a part of a team-based culture to meet our client's support needs while developing your skills and having fun!
As an Epic Analyst at Cardamom, you will:
• Collaborate with the Cardamom and Client Teams to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meeting deadlines with guidance from senior analysts.
• Provide excellent service to users and stakeholders by troubleshooting issues and offering solutions in Epic.
• Assist in gathering requirements, preparing specifications, and building Epic system configurations.
• Resolve moderate system issues by identifying root causes and applying solutions, escalating to senior analysts when needed.
• Maintain clear documentation for configurations, workflows, and processes.
• Follow change control processes for migrating system builds and ensure stability post changes.
• Support internal initiatives and special projects as needed.
• Ensure all work meets the agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for response times and issue resolution.
• Act as a liaison between users and teams to ensure smooth communication and improve system functionality.
• Assist with user training and support, helping end-users navigate and make the most of Epic functionality.
• Contribute to system testing and validation to ensure functionality aligns with user needs and business requirements.
Our ideal Epic Application Analyst will have:
• Must already be local to Madison, WI
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and a high sense of urgency
• Interest in healthcare IT
• Ability to obtain Epic certification within three months of start
• Ability to take on-call rotations outside of core business hours, including nights and weekends, if needed
