Job Description
Cape Fox Mountain Point is seeking a motivated Entry Level Environmental Project Coordinator to support our growing portfolio of federal environmental contracts.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in federal environmental project delivery. The role provides direct exposure to USACE and NAVFAC contracting processes, environmental regulations, and large-scale remediation and compliance projects. You will work closely with the Director of Environmental and cross-functional project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements.

  • Support the day-to-day coordination of environmental projects, including remediation, hazardous waste management, NEPA documentation, and environmental compliance activities under USACE and NAVFAC task orders.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and submittal of project deliverables such as work plans, sampling plans, progress reports, cost estimates, and closeout documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, laboratories, and regulatory agencies to ensure timely execution of field activities (e.g., soil/groundwater sampling, monitoring well installation, and site assessments).
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables using company project management tools; flag potential issues to the Director of Environmental.
  • Maintain organized project files, records, and databases in accordance with USACE/NAVFAC quality assurance and records management standards.
  • Participate in project meetings, site visits, and client teleconferences; take detailed notes and distribute action items.
  • Help develop environmental proposals, including technical approaches, labor estimates, and basis-of-estimate documentation.
  • Support compliance with key federal regulations (CERCLA, RCRA, CWA, CAA, NEPA, etc.) and DoD environmental policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Environmental to support overall department and company goals.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00
