Job description

GTA is looking for aย Geotechnical Engineering Technicianย in ourย Georgetown, Delawareย office. Responsibilities include construction monitoring and testing of soil, concrete, and other materials. This is an EXCELLENT opportunity for a new graduate with interests in geology, civil engineering and construction looking to start their career with a stable, growing company. Ample opportunities for training, certifications and career advancement. You must own a vehicle, have a good driving record, like working with people, and enjoy working outdoors. Experience is preferred, but we will accept entry level candidates and provide training!

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • B.S. in Geology, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Science. Preferred, but not required
  • Engineering Technician experience and certificates such as NICET, ACI, WACEL, are a plus
  • Own a Reliable Vehicle and have a Good Driving Record
  • Enjoy working outdoors
  • Ability to work alone as well as in a group
