Job description

We're Hiring! Looking for entry-level Environmental Technicians

Entry-level environmental (air) testing position with opportunity for advancement - we expect to promote this individual to a Test Engineer I ($26.00/Hour) within 6-12 months. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors and have the ability to travel for 2-to-5 days at a time when required. Travel will be regional and drivable.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform air emissions testing and monitoring services at a variety of industrial clients.
  • Record and analyze data, collect samples.
  • Transport and set up testing equipment using a company vehicle; dismantle equipment post-testing.
  • Calibrate testing equipment and assist engineers in conducting air quality testing procedures.
  • Adhere to environmental, health, and safety protocols.
  • Organize and prepare equipment for upcoming projects.
  • Gain proficiency in EPA Test Methods 1-5 using company resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a field-based / hands-on role.
  • Team player with strong initiative
  • Ability to travel during the work week
  • Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 75 lbs.

Additional Information:

  • Career Path: Technician - Test Engineer I/II - Project Supervisor - Project Manager - Sr. Project Manager.
  • Company vehicle provided for travel. All travel time, expenses, lodging + additional $72 per diem are paid by company.
  • Frequent overtime when working in the field, paid at 1.5x rate.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
