Job Description

We are currently searching for an experienced Field Service Engineer, who will be responsible for activities involving installation, engineering, repair, and upgrading of equipment and systems. We will consider entry-level, mid-level, and more experienced engineers and provide the appropriate challenge for your level of experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for post-sales support to clients. You will provide technical and operational training, test, adjust, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and install CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining equipment, peripherals, and upgrades.
  • Plans and coordinates activities concerned with installing, repairing, and upgrading equipment, investigating, and resolving customer reports of technical problems with equipment, and eliminating future operational or service difficulties by performing the following duties.
  • Work both independently and as a member of a team coordinating work activities and priorities
  • Examine machinery, components, and work orders and converse with equipment
  • Operators to detect equipment problems and to ascertain whether mechanical or human errors contributed to the problems.
  • Analyze all available information to determine root causes and recommend/complete repairs, upgrades, or other corrective actions.
  • Advise management and factory engineers regarding equipment defects, customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvement.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or engineering technology)
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in a Machine Tool Company
  • Knowledge of Fanuc Machines and CNC engines
  • Understand PLC systems and diagrams
  • Ability to operate forklift truck and manual lifting equipment
  • MS Office
  • Travel Requirements: 50%-75% travel
  • Work Location: On the road
  • Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
