As an Entry-Level Substation Electrical Engineer, you'll contribute to projects that power homes, businesses, and industries across Alberta and beyond. Your work will help deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions.

Your Impact
  • Design low to extra-high voltage substations, including one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and SCADA systems.
  • Develop station physical layouts, ground grid designs, and structural plans that meet client standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed cable and conduit plans, foundation drawings, and lightning protection strategies.
  • Support QA/QC processes to ensure deliverables meet WSP's high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate innovative solutions into complex projects.
  • Conduct site visits and occasional travel to support project execution and client engagement.

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NT: $73,400 - $97,200
MB & ON: $67,000 - $92,200
ATLANTIC PROVINCES & QC: $66,300 - $88,000
