Entry-level Product Engineer supporting New Product Development (NPD) activities for SiC JFET / CJFET / MOSFET products. This role focuses on learning NPD processes, supporting engineering execution, and building foundational technical competence through close collaboration with senior engineers and cross-functional teams. The position is based in Bucheon, Korea within the BU NPD, PTE, PSG division and is classified as Job Grade 9 for candidates with 0-2 years of experience. The Product Engineer supports the successful execution of new product development projects by assisting with engineering activities under guidance from senior engineers and managers.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support NPD projects by assisting senior Product Engineers and Managers to meet BU objectives
  • Participate in NPD activities following defined processes, schedules, and engineering guidelines
  • Assist in validation of electrical parameters through data analysis of electrical characterization results
  • Support coordination with design, process, assembly, test, and reliability engineering teams
  • Collect, organize, and analyze engineering data related to device performance, yield, and reliability
  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of engineering documents such as Product datasheets, Test specifications, Engineering build requests, Reliability test allocations and reports
  • Support issue tracking and resolution by working with cross-functional teams under supervision
  • Maintain project documentation using Agile or other internal documentation systems
  • Participate in project meetings, reviews, and training sessions to build technical and process knowledge
  • Provide basic technical support for assigned products under guidance from senior engineers
