Job description

You will be the Propulsion Performance Engineer for the Propulsion Performance Team which is responsible for advancing propulsion system capabilities across Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.


What You Will Be Doing


As the Propulsion Performance Engineer you will be responsible for leading technical analysis, modeling, testing, and integration of propulsion systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Conduct performance analysis of aircraft/engine interfaces and identify optimization opportunities.

  • Lead installation, testing, and validation of new propulsion systems.

  • Develop and refine propulsion system models and simulations.

  • Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with crossfunctional design teams.

  • Support program travel and collaborate with engine manufacturers and external partners.
