Job description

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or Engineering, Science, or Math, plus 1 year of relevant experience; or Master's degree.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Integration Engineer to join our team. This entry-level position supports the integration, testing, and documentation of complex multi-platform systems. The ideal candidate is a motivated problem-solver eager to learn and grow in a hands-on technical environment.
Responsibilities
  • Integrate software components and subsystems across Windows and Linux operating environments
  • Support configuration and maintenance of virtualized infrastructure and containerized environments (Kubernetes)
  • Perform black box and grey box testing to validate system functionality and identify defects
  • Write and maintain technical documentation including test procedures, integration guides, and system configuration records
  • Assist with scripting and automation tasks to support integration and DevOps workflows
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot integration issues and verify system requirements
  • Participate in configuration management and version control practices
  • Support system builds, deployments, and environment provisioning

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a Secret security clearance
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving technical requirements
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Windows and/or Linux system administration
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar)
  • Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls)
  • Experience writing database queries (SQL)
  • Awareness of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.)
  • Coursework, internships, or project experience in software testing or systems integration
  • Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
