What You Will Do

You'll support the design, development, testing, and deployment of control electronics, working alongside experienced engineers to bring systems from concept to reality. You'll assist with creating design packages, running simulations using tools like PSPICE or MATLAB, and troubleshooting electrical systems in both lab and plant environments. Along the way, you'll collaborate across engineering disciplines, contribute to technical documentation, and support ongoing improvements to system performance, reliability, and efficiency-gaining exposure to everything from low-voltage circuits to complex industrial power systems.

We'd Love to Hear from People With:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related fieldΒ 
  • Internship, co-op, or academic experience in electronics, embedded systems, or electrical designΒ 
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, including low-voltage DC and three-phase AC conceptsΒ 
  • Familiarity with simulation and analysis tools such as PSPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, or similarΒ 
  • Strong written, verbal, and communication skills
  • Ability to obtain (or already possess) a "Q" clearance

A Successful Candidate Brings:

  • Hands-on project or lab experience in electronics design, testing, or troubleshootingΒ

Pay:

Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $81,944-136,573. This position is Incentive eligible. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.Β  While the posted range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position, compensation above the range may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications and directly relevant experience.Β

This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.
