Electronics Test Technician

The Electronics Test Technician is an entry-level, hands-on role focused on testing, inspecting, and preparing electronic equipment for sale. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with electronics, taking things apart, troubleshooting, and learning how devices function.
Whether you’ve recently graduated from a technical program, built your own computers, or just enjoy working with electronics as a hobby, this role provides the opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, production environment with real equipment used in industry.
No advanced experience is required training is provided.
Key Responsibilities
• Test and inspect electronic equipment such as PLCs and control units
• Power on units and run basic diagnostic checks
• Identify issues and confirm whether equipment is functioning properly
• Clean, label, and prepare items for inventory or sale
• Perform light troubleshooting and simple repair tasks (training provided)
• Use basic tools and testing equipment to evaluate products
• Learn how to read and interpret technical information and system data
• Work with internal systems to track and document your work
• Stay organized while handling multiple items throughout your shift
• Work closely with team members to maintain workflow and quality standards

Knowledge & Skills That Help (Not Required)
• Familiarity with electronic components (resistors, capacitors, etc.)
• Basic soldering or repair experience
• Experience working with tools or mechanical systems
• Any technical schooling, certification, or hands-on projects
Education & Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Technical school training or 1–3 years of related experience preferred
• No formal experience required training provided
Physical Demands
• Occasional sitting, reaching, working overhead, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Frequent walking
• Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion
• Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds and continuous lifting up to 10 pounds
