The Advanced Effector Guidance Systems (AEGS) Department develops guidance section electronics architectures for development programs supports subsystem analyses integration and test provides program leadership as well as GPS/IMU support. We partner with several Electrical Engineering Departments that provide the detail designs of our electrical products. We are seeking entry-level candidates willing to collaborate innovate and team with our engineers to generate and utilize todays cutting-edge technology to develop electrical subsystems.

What You Will Do:
  • Job responsibilities of this role vary but include activities such as troubleshooting electronics in a lab or production environment performing system and circuit level analysis subsystem integration and test supporting failure investigations maintaining and creating documentation and interacting with multi-discipline groups including suppliers.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to CCA and component levels.
  • Failure analysis / root cause determination and corrective action implementation.
  • Performing analog and digital circuit analysis and characterizing and modeling electrical signals of electronics subsystems in simulation.
  • Identifying and instantiating circuit card and subassembly design updates.
  • Conducting integration & test at the subassembly level.
  • Develop interconnect models between various subsystems.
  • Generate test procedures/plans and document test results.
  • Generate and p resent task results to small technical teams.
  • Ability to work in either a team or individually.
  • Potential travel to test areas for support/troubleshooting issues less than 10%.
  • Able to lift 15 lbs.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations and FRACAS processes.
  • Knowledge and experience with Material Review Board Process Configuration Board Configuration Control Board and Failure Review Board processes proposing/defending and implementing Change Notices.
  • Experience with test equipment test automation scripting test conduction sensor control.
  • Experience with oscilloscope DMM logic analyzer spectrum analyzer network analyzer power meter .
  • Basic lab or other experience with one or more of the following: RF analog digital mixed signal circuit design or analysis
  • Experience with writing and/or executing test procedures.
  • Integration and test of electrical hardware/subsystems.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this role is 57200 USD - 108800 USD.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
