Nestled in the heart of Southern California's stunning desert landscape, the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas has recently undergone a sophisticated renovation and up-branding-bringing modern elegance and elevated experiences to every guest stay.
The Engineering Tech I position is a General Maintenance Engineer role responsible for performing general maintenance and repair duties throughout the resort, including guest rooms, meeting spaces, public areas, and front-of-house areas. You will conduct entry-level preventative maintenance to ensure guest rooms and public spaces remain in top condition. The role also includes assisting with basic repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment.
We're seeking candidates with hands-on experience or technical knowledge in general maintenance fields such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills, along with a commitment to delivering excellent guest service through consistent attention to detail. Success in this role also requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
The pay rate for this position is $20.00-$22.00 hourly. This is the pay rate for this position that The Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
