Tribble Electric is seeking motivated, career-minded entry-level Electrical Apprentices to join our team! Electrical Apprentices work under the supervision of licensed electricians in the residential, service, and commercial electrical industry. These individuals are offered the opportunity to work full-time in the field to gain exposure to the electrical industry with plans to enroll in our state approved apprenticeship program for electrical trades.

What You'll Do:
  • Work with licensed Journeyman and Master electricians.
  • Help perform installation and maintenance of electrical systems and generators on single-family, multi-family, and commercial buildings throughout the greater Richmond area.
  • Help perform preventative maintenance and service of existing electrical systems.
  • Aid installs and repairs of electrical equipment and lighting.
  • Assist with installs and troubleshooting special systems such as fire alarms, access controls, security cameras, and AV.
  • Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A passion for the Electrical industry and willingness to pursue an Electrical education.
  • Strong work ethic and a drive to advance in the trade.
  • Mechanical minded, fix-it yourself mentality.
  • Safety mindset with production focused goals.
  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Must be a team player, eager to learn, and possess a positive attitude.
  • Able to work in a construction environment, both indoor and outdoor.
  • Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
