Job description

Job Summary:
The Marketing Graphic Designer supports the Marketing team by creating high-quality visual communications that strengthen the IES brand and support company initiatives. This role provides creative support across print, digital, social media, events, recruiting, internal communications, public relations, client support, and customer-facing marketing materials.
As an entry-level position, the Marketing Graphic Designer collaborates with the Marketing, Public Relations, and Client Support teams to deliver creative projects that support internal and external communications, customer engagement, and business growth. This role helps meet the growing demand for design support while maintaining brand consistency across the organization.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, one-pagers, case studies, and presentations
  • Create graphics for social media, email campaigns, website updates, and digital advertising
  • Design event materials including signage, banners, booth graphics, name badges, programs, and promotional items
  • Develop internal communications, newsletters, recognition programs, and company announcements
  • Prepare artwork for print production and coordinate with vendors when needed
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials
  • Assist with photography selection, image editing, and basic video graphics
  • Organize and maintain design files and brand assets
  • Support website graphics and landing page imagery
  • Collaborate with content writers, event coordinators, and marketing leadership to deliver projects on schedule
  • Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:
  • Required
    • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field (or equivalent portfolio)
    • 0-2 years of professional design experience
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking and technical ability
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
    • Strong typography, layout, and branding skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Preferred
      • Experience with Canva
      • Basic video editing (Premiere Pro or After Effects)
      • Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint
