Job description

Lasting Media is a creative media agency that functions as an outsourced media division for our clients. We produce branded content, long-form video, short-form social content, and podcast across a range of industries. We are looking for an entry-level video editor who is serious about the craft, can work across multiple content styles, and is ready to contribute from day one. We do not require years of professional experience, but we do require a portfolio that proves you know what you are doing.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Edit long-form video, short-form social content, and branded client deliverables across a range of styles
  • Work within Adobe Premiere Pro and Studio One as your primary production environment
  • Collaborate with our production team and creative director on pacing, tone, and storytelling decisions
  • Cut content for multiple platforms including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
  • Manage your own edit queue and deliver on deadline without someone managing every step
  • Take direction well and bring your own instincts when given room to do so

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • A portfolio that demonstrates range across at least two content styles (talking head, branded, documentary, short-form, etc.)
  • Solid command of Adobe Premiere Pro
  • An understanding of pacing, visual storytelling, and how editing serves the audience, not just the timeline
  • Experience and understanding of editing for social media across multiple platforms
  • Someone who takes ownership of their work and follows through without being managed closely
  • A self-starter who is hungry to grow and not waiting to be told what to do next
  • Comfort working in and around the faith-based entertainment industry and faith-based clients

BONUS POINTS (but not required)

  • Familiarity with Studio One DAW
  • Understanding of YouTube as a platform, including retention, thumbnails, and title strategy
  • Experience with basic motion graphics or text animation

WHAT THIS IS NOT

  • A motion graphics-heavy role. Some basic animation and text work is expected, but this is an editing position first
  • Remote. We are an in-person team in Franklin and that is intentional

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Salary of $40,000 to $45,000 per year, with potential for a raise after your first 90 days based on performance
  • Health insurance allowance, PTO, and paid sick days (all effective after 90 days)
  • 401(k) eligibility after 90 days
  • Tuition reimbursement for career development courses. We invest in people who want to keep getting better
  • Up to $1,000 in relocation assistance for the right candidate
  • Summer Fridays
  • Flexible time arrangements and a schedule that respects your life outside of work
  • A stocked kitchen, coffee service, and a workspace that does not feel like a waiting room
  • A real team environment inside a growing creative agency where your work actually shows up in the world

ABOUT LASTING MEDIA

We are a small, focused team that takes the work seriously. Our clients trust us with their brand and their audience, and we do not treat that lightly. If you are early in your career, know how to cut, and want a role where your editing decisions actually matter, we want to hear from you.
