THE POSITION Rubenstein Communications is seeking a versatile and motivated Brand Messaging & Business Development Coordinator to support the firm's fast-paced business development and brand messaging functions, providing strategic support such as sector and client research; writing, editing, and proofreading; drafting presentations; compiling reports; refining processes; supporting project management; and administrative tasks (i.e., scheduling meetings)

This is an entry level opportunity. Rubenstein Communications' clientele includes global corporations, media and entertainment companies, financial services organizations, technology companies, educational and cultural institutions, law firms, health care providers, not-for-profit organizations, real estate companies, business executives, and public figures. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct background research and initial analysis on sectors and organizations using traditional methods, media coverage, and digital platforms Collect and organize research materials; compile briefing packets for internal teams Proofread, edit, and contribute to proposal writing projects and client contracts Draft and refine client presentations in collaboration with internal teams Maintain and update executive bios and case studies Adhere to and update templates for proposals, case studies, and research projects Maintain the proposal tracking system and produce status reports Manage archives of supporting documents for business development and brand messaging Support refinement of the client intake and onboarding process; keep client folders and documents current Provide administrative support including meeting scheduling, weekly status report preparation, and general department coordination KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Well-organized and able to prioritize all daily activities with a keen eye for detail Capable of handling multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency under tight and shifting time deadlines Nimble and flexible to pivot quickly from project to project Holds self and work to a high standard and is committed to refining processes and products for excellence Skilled at communicating effectively in written and oral presentations Strong pattern recognition to connect themes across sectors and bring creative thinking to client work Able to synthesize information into a concise format Able to adapt writing style to a variety of topics, contexts, and voices Able to take verbal direction quickly and accurately Enthusiastic about taking initiative to keep the work on track Confident to ask questions, humble to receive feedback, open to mentorship and continuous learning Tech savvy with the capacity to learn/use new research tools in their work.

Skilled in using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; working knowledge of creative tools like Canva a plus News savvy and up-to-date on current events EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE Prior internship experience - with a focus in research and writing for strategic communications, public relations, marketing, business development, branding, policy, or a related field, demonstrating a range of styles and formats - is required Prior experience in an agency setting (consulting, public relations, marketing, branding, or other professional services) is preferred College degree preferred - focus on Communications, Philosophy, Marketing, Business, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field is ideal WORKPLACE | COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Workplace: We operate in a hybrid workplace model with designated on-site and remote workdays. Our schedule is Monday and Friday from home (unless specifically requested), and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the office. Staff are required to be within commuting distance of our office on remote/flexible days.

Compensation: $45,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on several factors, including (but not limited to): the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and business or organizational needs.

The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Employees are also eligible for a discretionary bonus not included in this pay range.
