Account Coordinator (entry level)
Location: Chicago, IL

FINN Partners is looking for a recent graduate to join our Midwest team as an Account Coordinator. This is an entry-level role for someone who has completed at least six months of internships in PR, communications, or marketing and is ready to start their agency career.
You'll provide the foundational support that keeps our client accounts moving. Your day-to-day will include:
  • Media Outreach: Building accurate media lists and assisting the team in pitching stories to local and national outlets.
  • Content Support: Drafting and proofreading press releases, pitches, and meeting summaries. We look for "client-ready" writing that requires minimal editing.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Tracking client coverage and industry news to help us report back on the impact of our work.
  • Trend Tracking: Staying updated on social and traditional media trends relevant to our clients' industries.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of six months of internship experience in the marketing communications field (agency experience a plus)
  • Possesses a solid understanding of public relations, social media, and integrated marketing communications strategies, with the ability to apply them effectively across diverse client initiatives
  • Consistently exhibit strong writing and editing skills, producing clear, concise, and well-tailored content that aligns with each client's voice and tone. Work is polished, error-free, and client-ready, requiring minimal revisions.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and great at follow-up. You thrive in the fast-paced work environment and easily keep track of many moving parts.

The salary for this role is $42,500. The salary will be commensurate with the selected candidate's experience and dependent on the workplace.
