Job description

Overview
VTG is seeking entry level college graduates to start their career in the Intelligence Field! The role is based in Washington, DC with a foundation for career advancement!
What will you do?
  • Evaluate incoming reports and information.
  • Identify relevant data sources to clarify or corroborate investigative or operational intelligence community initiatives.
  • Access information from classified and open-source databases.
  • Access, analyze and interpret as well as perform research on designated systems and databases for the purpose of identifying information of interest to the requestor, downloading the identified information to an appropriate medium, and editing the information into format(s) specified by customer requirements
  • Evaluate information using good judgment and decision making.
  • Evaluate data and make recommendations.

Do you have what it takes?
  • Bachelor's degree; Political Science, Government Affairs or International Affairs preferred but not required OR three (3) years of experience performing administrative, analytical, and research functions.
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Must demonstrate ability, tenacity, and patience to follow detailed procedures in a repetitive process.
  • Shall always display a professional demeanor, regardless of the circumstance.
  • Must demonstrate oral communication and interpersonal skills to work within a team environment.
  • Must have the ability to not share work information with others outside assigned EVC Unit and its partners during and after employment.
  • Shall demonstrate written communication skills sufficient to explain actions taken and how recommendations were derived.
  • Must have proficient computer skills, including the ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Google Chrome; navigate multiple browser windows, and copy/paste to and from different applications.
  • Eligibility for a TS Clearance
  • US Citizen
  • Interest in national security, international studies, counterintelligence or similiar areas preferred but not required.

This position is contingent upon contract award.
Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $50,000-$65,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range
