JOB TITLE:ย ย ย ย ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  Entry Level Paintline Operatorย ย 

REPORTS TO:ย ย ย ย  ย  ย  ย  ย Department Manager with direction from Team Leader

SHIFT DAYS /HOURS:ย 1stย Shift Position (5am- 5pm)ย 12 hour a day work schedule 2-days on/2-days off/every other weekend (rotating shift)

STARTING PAY:ย ย  ย  ย ย $23/ per hour, with the ability to earn more.

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Entry Level Operator for the Paint Line for our aluminum manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be an integral part of our production team, responsible for supporting the efficient and effective functioning of the paint line operations. The Operator will assist in the preparation and application of coatings to aluminum products, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet our customer specifications. You will work closely with paint line operators and other production staff to handle materials, prepare surfaces, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety as you will be working with various chemicals and machinery. Your day-to-day activities will involve racking and unracking parts, assisting in the monitoring of paint application processes, and performing regular quality checks on coated products. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and communication are essential. What You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Assist with loading and unloading of materials.
  • Operate machinery and equipment as needed to support the production process.
  • Set up bake ovens based on product specifications and requirements.
  • Perform a variety of manual labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials, cleaning work areas, and assisting with setup and teardown of equipment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and safety protocols to perform tasks safely and effectively.
  • Report any defects or issues to Team Leader/Management.
  • Record and maintain accurate records of oven temperatures and production data.ย 
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes and achieve production targets.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job included close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the qualifications, knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
