Entry-level Maintenance engineer
We are seeking a Maintenance engineer to join our team to help ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our properties and equipment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic, common sense, and a proactive approach to problem solving; to learn property maintenance skills. Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Have availability between the hours of 7am and 7pm as well as 2 or 3 on-call shifts per week
  • Be willing to learn and take direction
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
  • Prior maintenance knowledge is a plus but not necessary. We will train the right person

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on guestrooms, buildings, and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, then execute repairs promptly to minimize guest dissatisfaction
  • Perform painting, drywall repair, carpentry, maintain building exterior
  • Fix basic plumbing issues (leaks, clogs), lighting, electrical issues etc.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory
  • Check and maintain pool chemistry
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, brand standards, and company policies
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions.
  • Other tasks assigned by the director of engineering Maintenance

Salary Description
