Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Registered Pharmacy Technician to our team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville.This is a PRN opportunity! This is an entry level position and the perfect opportunity to gain experience in a clinical setting. This candidate will deliver medications to patient floors and stock the Omnicell dispensing cabinet. This candidate will assist with duties within the central pharmacy.A Pharmacy technician license in the state of Florida is required for this position.

As a Pharmacy Technician, your job duties will include:

  • Assisting pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications.
  • Maintaining the drug inventory.
  • Maintaining patient records.
  • Working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Pharmacy Technician Experience:

  • Less than 1 year Technician Experience

Education & Credential Requirements:

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Registered Pharmacy Tech (RPT) with Florida Board of Pharmacy Required
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPT) Preferred
