Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Mankato, MN
Compensation: $20.00 per hour - paid weekly
Schedule: 1st shift | Monday-Thursday
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-timeAbout the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Material Handler workers for a manufacturing company in Mankato, MN. In this role, you'll support production and warehouse operations by ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, and delivered where they're needed. If you enjoy hands-on work, staying active, and working in a fast-paced environment, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as a Material Handler:
  • Receive, verify, and stock incoming materials and components
  • Pick, stage, and deliver materials to support production and shipments
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
  • Transport materials to designated areas in a timely manner
  • Communicate with production and logistics teams to support workflow
What You Need to Bring to the Material Handler Role:
  • Ability to stand and perform physical work for 8-10 hour shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently (team lift for heavier items)
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Ability to operate or learn equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts
  • Ability to read and follow instructions in English
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills
  • Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred but not required (entry-level welcome)
