Job description

Job Summary:
Blue Sky Innovators is seeking a motivated, entry-level engineer to support the Anti-Tamper Executive Agent within SAF/AQL. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the center of Anti-Tamper efforts, assisting in reviewing plans and contributing to data infrastructure for decision-making.
Responsibilities:
• Support the review and analysis of Anti-Tamper (AT) plans submitted by defense industry partners
• Extract and catalog technologies, methodologies, and protection measures from AT plans
• Develop and maintain databases and tracking tools to monitor:
• Evolution of Anti-Tamper technologies
• Research & Development (R&D) investments
• Program-level implementation trends
• Assist in identifying gaps, trends, and opportunities in Anti-Tamper approaches across programs
• Prepare briefings, summaries, and analytical products for senior SMEs and leadership
• Collaborate daily with the Anti-Tamper Executive Agent, Program Office personnel, and senior engineers
• Support continuous improvement of data management and knowledge-sharing frameworks
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
• Active TS clearance required (SCI eligibility required)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and extract key insights
• Proficiency with data management tools (e.g., Excel, databases, or similar platforms)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work 100% on-site at JBAB
Preferred:
• Exposure to acquisition, program protection, or national security systems
• Familiarity with databases, data visualization tools, or basic programming (e.g., Python, SQL)
• Internship or academic experience related to defense systems, cybersecurity, or systems engineering
• Interest in Anti-Tamper, export controls, or protection of critical technologies
