Position Summary
Central Semiconductor is looking to add a Materials Inspector to join the QC Team. The Materials Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections on electronic components and materials to ensure conformance to specifications.
Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; structured training will be provided to the right candidate.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs inspections in accordance with departmental procedures and work instructions.
  • Sets up and runs test programs on automatic test equipment (ATE), and checks for ATE correlations.
  • Visually examines products to detect defects such as incorrect markings, improper orientation in packaging, improper packaging, bent leads, blemishes, stains, for both standard devices and TWM devices.
  • Verifies conformance of products to dimensional specifications using a variety of measuring instruments for both standard and TWM devices.
  • Records results of inspections in the system and prepares inspection reports, identifying approved and rejected quantities.
  • Observes safety rules, regulations, and procedures while operating all equipment.
  • Performs processes needed to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Other duties as assigned
