Pay Rate: $70.00/hr - $87.00/hr on W2
Job Description
Senior Software Test Automation Engineer position will require working as part of a virtual team to deliver enhancements for test automation frameworks to meet 1LMX and Model Based Enterprise (MBE) strategic needs; coding automation scripts and delivering solutions to address SW testing requirements; and maintaining test automation frameworks. Responsibilities will include basic test automation script development and configuration management; upgrading automation frameworks to industry standards; containerizing automation solutions; addressing Continuous Testing (CT) gaps with common DevOPS pipelines; and creating automation keywords and libraries.
Basic Skills:
• Experience with Tricentis tosca required.
• Experience in Software development and coding including proficiency in Java, VBScript, Python or similar computing languages.
• Experience with Keyword-based test automation development
• Understanding of test automation frameworks and industry toolsets
• Experience in Test cycle planning, coordination, execution, and reporting
• Conceptual knowledge of DevOPS best practices
• Experience with container orchestration including Docker
• Strong Communications skills (written and verbal)
• Strong drive and initiative (self-starter)
• Proficient organization skills
• Agile project delivery
Desired Skills:
• Experience with cross-quadrant testing: user facing tests, functional testing, unit testing, scalability testing
• Experience building CI/CD/CT pipelines in GitLab (Preferred) and/or Jenkins
• Strong presentation skills to diverse audiences at multiple levels
