We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Job Coach/Employment Specialist to join our team to aid our clients that reside in Howard County.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing programs aimed at enhancing the skills and capabilities of individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. This position requires a strong commitment to mentoring, educating, and empowering individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals.

Responsibilities
  • Educate participants on essential life skills, job readiness, and social integration.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and support to participants, fostering their growth and independence.
  • Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to create a supportive environment for individuals.
  • Engage in workforce development initiatives that promote job placement and retention for participants.
  • Skills
  • Experience working with people who have developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable.
