Position Summary
The Process Engineer I is an entry-level engineering professional responsible for supporting the development and execution of process engineering deliverables for sustainable energy, petrochemical, advanced fuels, and decarbonization projects. Working under the guidance of experienced process engineers, this role contributes to project execution from conceptual design through commissioning and startup activities.
The position works within multidisciplinary project teams to perform process simulations, develop process design packages, conduct engineering calculations, and support design and operational activities for a variety of industrial process facilities.
In addition, the Process Engineer I gains exposure to all phases of project development while building technical expertise in process engineering principles, design methodologies, and project execution practices.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
โ€ข Assist in preparation of technical documentation, reports, and engineering calculations
โ€ข Support development and execution of technical and economic feasibility studies
โ€ข Assist in preparation of Process Design Packages (PDPs)
โ€ข Perform process simulations using engineering software
โ€ข Conduct hydraulic calculations and system analyses
โ€ข Perform thermal rating calculations for process equipment
โ€ข Assist with process equipment sizing and specification development
โ€ข Support design and definition of process unit operations
โ€ข Provide process engineering support during detailed engineering activities
โ€ข Support field assignments related to commissioning and startup activities as required

โ€ข Maintain accuracy and quality of engineering calculations and deliverables
โ€ข Support compliance with project requirements, schedules, and quality standards

Qualifications
