POSITION SUMMARY:
Idaho Milk Products is seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Coordinator to support day to day marketing activities with a focus on content creation, graphic design support, community engagement, and event execution. This is an entry level role designed to grow alongside the Marketing team, providing hands on experience across creative projects, social media content, and community focused initiatives.
This position supports existing team members who manage social media strategy and community events, helping fill execution gaps while building skills in design, content development, trade show support, and community outreach. Over time, the role will gain broader exposure to community engagement responsibilities as part of long term team planning.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creative & Graphic Design Support:

• Assist with creating on-brand graphics for social media, executive presentation templates, events, and internal communications.
• Support preparation of marketing and trade show materials such as signage, handouts, and promotional assets.
• Help maintain brand consistency across visual materials.

Content Creation & Social Media Support:

• Assist social media specialists in creating content, including posts, short videos, reels, and stories.
• Support execution of content ideas developed by the marketing team.
• Help capture photos and videos at events or around the facility for marketing use.

Trade Show & Event Support:

• Assist with planning and preparation for trade shows, conferences, and community events.
• Help organize materials, coordinate shipments, and support on-site setup and teardown.
• Provide general event support before, during, and after events.

Community Engagement & Outreach:

• Participate in local community events representing Idaho Milk Products.
• Support outreach efforts and help maintain positive relationships in the Magic Valley.
• Gradually learn community engagement responsibilities as part of role development.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate's degree in Business, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field.

Experience:

• Background in graphic design, social media, or content creation.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, creative, and product) to execute integrated marketing campaigns aligned with brand guidelines.
• Experience planning and executing events from concept to completion, including budgeting, venue coordination, vendor selection, and logistics management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Affinity, or similar software is a plus.
• Comfortable using social media platforms and creating basic content.
• Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to grow.
• Familiarity with generative AI platforms for image and video creation.

Physical Requirements:

• Must possess strength, stamina, and mobility to perform physical work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Frequent climbing of ladders and stairs requiring agility.
• Walking long distances on a continuous basis.
• Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and fingers.
• Regular stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Clear verbal communication of detailed instructions.

Working Conditions:

• Work occurs both indoors and outdoors.
• Exposure to extreme heat (above 100°F) for periods of more than two hours occasionally.
• High noise levels requiring raised voices.
• Subject to noise levels up to at least 92db's.
