Entry-Level Design Engineer
Location: Atlanta, Georgia (Onsite Mon-Thurs, remote on Fridays)
Length: 3 year contract to start
Pay rate: 28/hr. on W2 basis
Role Overview
The Design Engineer will assist in the planning, design, and development of technical standards for gas distribution infrastructure projects. This position supports continuous work across multiple active projects, involving the review of designs and planning for revisions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review designs and plan for revisions on various projects.
  • Work on gas storage or gas fueling station assignments.
  • Perform assignments involving the design of components or functionality of pipeline products.
  • Engage in the planning and design of mechanical equipment and components, including their maintenance.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required. Civil or Mechanical Engineering degrees are preferred, with Chemical or Environmental considered as alternatives.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with CAD and MicroStation.
  • Experience with GIS, ESRI, or ArcGIS mapping.
  • Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification.
