Responsibilities:

· Lead the design, development, and integration of complex aerospace systems and components from concept through production.

· Serve as the technical lead for small to mid-sized engineering projects, providing direction, prioritization, and oversight to project team members.

· Perform complex engineering calculations and simulations.

· Mentor and coach junior engineers by providing technical guidance, design reviews, and professional development support.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

· Participate in design reviews and provide critical feedback.

· Lead the design and development of complex aerospace systems and components.

· Conduct in-depth engineering analysis and optimization.

· Prepare and develop 3-D models, 2-D drawings and other related technical documentation using SolidWorks.

· Coordinate with other departments to ensure project alignment.

· Support prototype builds, testing, validation, qualification, and certification activities, resolving technical issues throughout the product lifecycle.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance engineering processes, design quality, productivity, and innovation.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

· 5-9 years of progressive engineering experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.

· Demonstrated experience leading engineering projects and mentoring junior engineers.

· Proficiency with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks and model-based design practices.

· Experience in Aerospace design and manufacturing processes.

· Experience interpreting and applying GD&T and aerospace engineering standards.

· U.S. citizenship is required.

· A current US Security Clearance to the level of SECRET.
