Job Title: Delivery Driver

With a commitment to quality and innovation, we have earned a strong reputation in the industry, and we are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our team and help ensure our high-precision aerospace components reach our customers on time.

Position Overview:
As a Delivery Driver at Premier Metal Finishing, LLC, you will play a crucial role in the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of machined and finished aerospace parts to customers, suppliers, and partners throughout the Portland metro area and surrounding regions. You will be the face of our company on the road, representing our commitment to excellence and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Load and unload delivery vehicles with care, ensuring parts are properly secured to prevent damage.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using GPS and company-provided manifests.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including verifying orders and obtaining signatures.
• Utilize Personal Protective Equipment when required.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper working condition of the company delivery vehicle.
• Assist with light warehouse duties as needed when not on the road.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent. This is an entry-level position. Training is provided on the job.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3 years).
• Experience in a delivery or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate a box truck or cargo van (non-CDL).
• Ability to follow instructions, read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to lift and/or maneuver objects weighing 30 – 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and extended periods of driving.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
