Position Overview

We are seeking a 3rd SHIFT Extrusion Machine Operator I to support day-to-day production operations within our manufacturing facilities.


This entry-level role exists to ensure safe, consistent, and efficient operation of assigned equipment in support of production schedules and quality standards. The Machine Operator I will operate machinery, monitor processes, inspect parts, and follow standardized work instructions under the guidance of experienced operators and supervisors.

This is a foundational manufacturing role for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in producing high-quality work and contributing to a strong team environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  Operate assigned production equipment in accordance with work instructions and safety procedures
Load and unload materials and components as required
Monitor machine performance and identify basic operational issues
Perform basic in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers or gauges
Follow documented production processes and maintain quality standards
Accurately complete production paperwork and maintain lot traceability
Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards
Escalate equipment malfunctions or quality concerns to supervisors or maintenance
Support cross-training efforts and assist with additional tasks as assigned
Adhere to all safety policies and regulatory requirements

  0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred

Ability to follow written instructions and interpret basic production documents
Comfortable using basic measuring tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including nights or weekends if needed
