Location Flexibility
This position may be based at any of our U.S. locations, including Oshkosh, WI; Philadelphia, PA; or Yuba City, CA. We are open to hiring the right candidate regardless of which of our U.S. facilities best aligns with their experience and business needs.


Position Overview:

The Buyer I will support the supply chain in procurement of goods and services, maintain supply inventory levels for effective company operation, coordinate vendor compliance with customer requirement, and conduct regular price and lead time comparisons to ensure Kingsbury receives the best return while learning and complying with company purchasing policies and procedures. The Buyer I will be responsible for these duties across all three domestic locations of Kingsbury; Oshkosh, WI, Philadelphia, PA, and Yuba City, CA.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Procure Materials, Repair and Operations (MRO) products.
  • Procure Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products.
  • Procure Vendor Engineering products.
  • Coordinate with production and vendors to ensure customer requirements can/will be met.
  • Generate, process, maintain, and troubleshoot Purchase Order Requisitions and Purchase Orders.
  • Make preliminary efforts to resolve late orders or issues with vendors.
  • Communicate daily with the Purchasing Staff and Production as to the disposition of open purchase orders.
  • Enter, Maintain, and Manage Vendor Item database.
  • Maintain inventory and purchases in accordance with the Kingsbury Governance Plan.
  • Process Vendor Invoices.
  • Maintain sound business relationships with vendors to ensure continued business success.
  • Exemplify Kingsbury’s safety mindset by complying with all safety requirements and acts as a safety ambassador.
  • Attends all company required trainings and meetings. (ie safety and department meetings)
  • Complete special projects, continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.
