Job description

We are seeking application for anย Inside Sales & Estimating Coordinator. They will support our project electrical contracting division, specifically with commercial property management and multi-family housing industry. This role will involve managing opportunities and relationships within this fast-paced environments. The position will oversee the opportunities, build relationships and close quoted work. This is ideal for someone who is looking for an entry level sales position, is highly organized and enjoys working with people.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update bid logs, proposal tracking systems, and opportunity databases.
  • Organize and prioritize incoming requests for quotes (RFQs), with emphasis on commercial property managers and multi-family housing clients.
  • Coordinate bid schedules and deadlines with internal team members.
  • Contact clients, general contractors, property managers, and vendors to confirm receipt of bids and gauge interest.
  • Document client feedback and communicate it to the estimating or sales team.
  • Build rapport with customers, especially within property management and multi-family housing sectors, to help maintain strong business relationships.
  • Ask questions, listen and look for opportunities to expand accounts.
  • Work closely with estimators, project managers, and senior staff to learn the electrical business
  • Shadow estimating and project coordination processes for small projects in commercial and residential multi-unit settings.
  • Gain exposure to pricing, scopes of work, vendor relations, and industry best practices

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelorโ€™s degree preferred).
  • Prior administrative, sales support, or coordination experience a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and comfort with learning new software.
  • Comfort with CRMs and daily usage.
  • Attend networking events in the N. VA, DC metro, and Baltimore metro markets.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong interest in learning the electrical contracting industry, particularly in commercial property management and multi-family housing.
