Job Title: Procurement Assistant


Job Description:

  • ICS is interested in an entry level professional with Human Resource Generalist background as well as experience in Acquisition Career tracks
  • This encompasses routine administrative and end user support to include answering telephones, producing formal written correspondence, disseminate information to broad and targeted audiences, navigate websites, use email and coordinate travel arrangements for federal travelers
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • Serves as liaison between multiple parties, stakeholders and organizations
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Effectively interfaces with personnel at varying levels of seniority (entry level to executive)
  • Coordinates meetings, creates spreadsheets, conducts research, compose correspondence, produce and maintain logs, records and files in both paper and electronic formats
  • Possesses the ability to exchange and manage information through, verbal and electronic channels

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen for a minimum of 3 years; Will require a background check
  • Able to review procurement request packages, execute purchase orders, manage procurement files, order supplies and equipment, manage databases, create presentations using most versions of Microsoft Office software inclusive of but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access and Outlook (Candidate must be strong in Microsoft Office)
  • Experience with IAA's (Inter/Intra-Agency Agreements) a plus!
