About the Role

We are seeking an entry-level MES (Manufacturing Execution System) / WMS (Warehouse Management System) Support Analyst to provide day-to-day system support for manufacturing or warehouse operations. The role focuses on troubleshooting system issues, supporting end users, and ensuring smooth execution of production and logistics processes. You will work closely with operations, IT, and engineering teams to maintain system stability and improve workflow efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Basic understanding of SQL (required)
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL preferred)
  • Basic understanding of MES or WMS concepts (or ERP systems like SAP a plus)
  • Experience with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
  • Manufacturing or warehouse operations flow
  • Inventory management and order processing concepts
  • Basic understanding of system integration (API, EDI, data interfaces)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Good communication skills (supporting non-technical users)
  • Ability to work under pressure in production environments

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support for MES/WMS applications
  • Resolve system issues related to production orders, inventory, scanning, and workflow execution
  • Monitor system alerts, logs, and interfaces between MES/WMS and ERP systems
  • Support manufacturing or warehouse floor users (operators, supervisors, planners)
  • Assist in resolving real-time production or shipment issues
  • Ensure accurate data flow between systems and shop floor equipment (scanners, PLCs, labels)
  • Run SQL queries for data validation and issue investigation
  • Generate reports on production, inventory, and system performance
  • Assist in data reconciliation between MES/WMS and ERP (SAP/Oracle)
  • Assist in system testing during upgrades or new releases
  • Support configuration changes under guidance of senior analysts
  • Document incidents, root cause analysis, and resolutions
  • Work with IT developers, business analysts, and vendors
  • Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 / Tier 3 support teams
  • Participate in shift handovers if 24/7 support is required
