Job description

Lipari Foods is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst- Supply Chain to support financial planning, cost analysis, and operational efficiency within the supply chain. This entry-level role will assist in analyzing data related to procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution to help drive cost savings and improve overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze supply chain costs including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and inventory holding
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for supply chain operations
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, cost per unit, and service levels
  • Support month-end and quarter-end financial reporting processes
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to align financial goals
  • Prepare financial models and variance analyses
  • Maintain and update financial and operational databases
  • Assist in pricing analysis and supplier cost evaluations

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic modeling)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus
  • Basic understanding of supply chain processes and financial principles
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
