Job description

Position Overviewย 

Align is seeking an Entry Level Data Center Project Analyst to support our Data Center Solutions team, reporting to aย Programย Manager. This role focuses on the design and installation of the physical layer of data centers, including HVAC, power distribution, structured cabling, and space planning.ย 

The Project Analyst will support project execution, documentation, and coordination efforts while gaining hands-on experience across data center builds. This is an excellent opportunity to develop technical, consulting, and project management skills under the guidance of senior team members.ย 

  • This is a full-time salaried position offering competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and paid training.ย 
  • The Data Center Project Analyst will be based in Phoenix, AZ, with approximately 50% travelย requiredย both locally and across the United States.ย 

Responsibilitiesย 

  • Support data center projects through site surveys, documentation, scheduling, and coordination of vendors and deliverablesย 
  • Assistย with project planning, RFPs, and collecting project estimates/quotesย 
  • Participate in data center design and installation efforts (power distribution, low voltage cabling, white space layouts)ย 
  • Create drawings and visuals including cabinet elevations, floor plans, and network diagramsย 
  • Help coordinate on-site installations and troubleshoot issues duringย buildoutsย 
  • Support ongoing data center assessments and client deliverablesย 
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, Bluebeam, and Procoreย 

Qualificationsย 

  • Bachelor's degree inย Constructionย Management, Engineering, or related field, or 1-2 years of relevant experienceย ย 
  • Interest in data centers,ย critical facilities, IT infrastructure, or construction project managementย ย 
  • Exposure to MEP, construction, or infrastructure environments preferred (internships/co-ops a plus)ย ย 
  • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detailย ย 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentย
