Court File Clerk

Temporary Contract: 3 Months

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $25.00 / hour

Position Summary: 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Court File Clerk to provide clerical and administrative support within the Records Department. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate court records, scanning and verifying documents, reconciling physical and digital case files, and retrieving information through the court’s case management system.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience with document scanning and data entry, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a records-based environment. Due to the confidential and highly organized nature of court records, professionalism, discretion, and accuracy are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Previous experience with document scanning is required.
  • Previous data entry experience is required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
  • Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn and navigate case management and records systems.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies between physical and electronic records.
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information.

  • Ability to complete an offsite mail run three times per week.
