Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a growing, privately held organization in Boston, MA, is seeking an entry level Accounting Clerk to join their accounting team. This role offers exposure to a variety of accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, reconciliations, and general accounting support. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in accounting with opportunities for growth and development. This role offers competitive salary and benefits.


Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day accounting operations across AP, AR, and billing
  • Assist with reconciliations and account maintenance
  • Process customer payments and maintain accurate records
  • Review invoices and ensure proper coding and documentation
  • Communicate with customers regarding payments and account inquiries
  • Organize accounting documentation and assist with reporting needs
  • Provide general support to the accounting team as needed

Requirements

  • Accounting, Finance, or related degree preferred
  • 0-1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP, AR, or related experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
