Job description

Job Title: Entry-Level Data Center Technician

Pay: $20/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (40 hours/week)

Overtime: Occasional extended shifts up to 5:00 PM (up to 50 hours/week depending on project needs)

Position Overview

We are seeking an Entry-Level Data Center Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and experience in physically demanding environments. No extensive telecom or data center experience is required—this is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into the data center space and grow their career.

The right candidate is dependable, coachable, and comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Pull, route, and secure cabling throughout the data center
  • Assemble, stack, and drill equipment racks
  • Scan, label, and document equipment using a computer system
  • Assist with porting and organizing hardware components
  • Support installation tasks under the direction of higher level technicians

Required Qualifications
  • Experience working in a physically demanding environment (construction, trades, warehouse, military, etc.)
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools daily
  • Ability to perform manual labor tasks (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Proven reliability and consistent attendance record
  • Ability to work safely on ladders and lifts

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
  • Experience with installations, cable pulling, or low-voltage systems
  • Hands-on electrical experience
  • Military Experience
