Apply 2-month temp/contract with potential to extend based on project needs Dates: ASAP - October 30, 2026 Location: Providence, RI 02912 (Hybrid after training) Schedule: Mon - Tues in office, Wed - Fri from home Pay Range: $27.00/hour Our client is seeking a Temporary Compensation Coordinator to handle core administrative and entry-level support functions: Mailbox & Ticket Management: Monitoring and triaging the shared Compensation inbox, reassigning tickets, and handling basic requests (e.g., rescind/correct adjustments). Data Audits & Reporting: Conducting recurring data audits across systems, generating standard reporting files, pulling weekly reports, and creating Employee Census documentation to support the team. Documentation & Coordination: Assisting with compensation cycle documentation, slide formatting, digital accessibility reviews, and scheduling vendor/executive meetings

DAY-TO-DAY EXPECTATIONS Data Analysis: beginner level; requires intermediate MS Excel skills Assist with drafting and reviewing communications: requires excellent verbal and written communication skills Assist with inbox triage: answer questions from employees on compensation and redirect questions when needed (FAQ guide provided) Assist with documentation and calendaring Assist with current projects as needed QUALIFICATIONS Required: Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as Google Drive Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision in data entry, auditing, and reviewing documents Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication for coordinating across internal HR teams Preferred: Prior Human Resources experience, specifically within a Compensation function Direct experience navigating or performing audits within Workday and PayFactors Previous background in data analysis or reporting Experience with Visio or process mapping tools nextSource is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
