Overview
The Procurement Specialist is a multi-faceted entry level position focused on data analytics, reporting, vendor management and administrative functions. A successful candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, report preparation and data analytics related to Supply Chain Management.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze and convert raw Spend data into Spend and Savings reports for SCM Management.
  • Handle the internal Vendor pre-qualification and vetting process.
  • Proactively search for improvements to the Vendor onboarding process.
  • Handle P-Card program maintenance and User support services
  • Manage SCM online tools such as DocuSign, Amazon Business, D&B, and Descartes Visual Compliance
  • Communicate with Buyers, Expeditors, Project Procurement Managers, Subcontract Administrators and other project personnel concerning systems and reporting tool improvements and maintenance.
  • Assist with the SCM Purchasing and Subcontracting policy and procedure management.
  • Execute special projects and initiatives set by SCM Management
  • Establish medium and long term career and personal development goals
  • Enthusiastically seek and accept tasks and projects in rotations that allow for maximum experience and growth
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Occasional travel

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Database Management or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of experience working in a Supply Chain environment preferred
  • Must have advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, macros, etc.) and other MS Office applications
  • JD Edwards (JDE) software experience preferred
  • General knowledge of the procurement and subcontracting process preferred
