POSITION OVERVIEW:
Startec Compression & Process is currently recruiting a Sales & Applications Coordinator to work at our Glenmore Office (Suite 240, 4000 Glenmore Court SE, Calgary, AB, T2C 5R8).  The Sales & Applications Coordinator is responsible for seamlessly supporting the sales and applications engineering group through a variety of administrative tasks. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role provides invaluable support by collecting and organizing lead data, maintaining CRM information, preparing compelling sales materials, proposal coordination and preparation, maintaining accurate customer records, supporting the process for opening quote numbers, managing schedules and completing other administrative tasks that free up the time for the sales and applications teams. This role is an important contributor to the success of our sales and applications efforts
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI):
SALES & APPLICATIONS SUPPORT (Weighting 40%)Lead Management
  • Assist in lead research and data collection.
  • Input and maintain lead data in CRM.
  • Track status of lead progress in the sales pipeline.
  • Create compelling sales materials tailored to clients.
  • Prepare and maintain sales reports.
  • Support proposal preparation with the applications engineering team
  • Coordinate the process for opening quote numbers
Customer Relations
  • Handle customer inquiries and route appropriately when required
  • Maintain accurate customer profiles.
DATA ANALYSIS (Weighting 30%)Data Management
  • Analyze data for insights and recommendations.
  • Implement improvements based on data.
  • Generate routine sales and contract reports.
Operations and Compliance
  • Manage CRM usage and training for the sales team.                                   
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT (Weighting 30%)Sales Administration
  • Coordinate meetings and events for the sales team.
  • Arrange travel for the sales team when required.
  • Maintain organized contract records.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to support sales and applications engineering functions
  • Monitor contract expiration and renewal.
  • Identify and rectify any discrepancies or issues with document content or organization
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales support, contract administration, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Pipedrive)
  • Working knowledge and use of Word, Excel, Visio, Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Understanding of sales processes
